Robert started his career in commercial banking in Dallas in 1987 and moved to Albuquerque in 1993 with a career change into mortgage lending.  He operated his own mortgage company in Albuquerque that sold to a local bank in 2010.  In 2015, Hometrust Mortgage acquired that company and combined their existing office.  Robert then became the Branch Manager of the Albuquerque office with Hometrust.  Robert's business is referral based from past clients, Realtors and builders in New Mexico.

 

Robert graduated from Baylor University in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in finance and real estate and received an MBA in finance from Rutgers University in 1987.  He was a director and President of the New Mexico Mortgage Lenders Association.  He lives in Albuquerque with his wife, Nancy, and they have two adult children.  In their spare time, they both enjoy travel, skiing and hilkng in New Mexico and internationally.
